Drawings for In-Law Apartments

THIS TYPE OF PROJECT IS NOT ALLOWED IN MANY MUNICIPALITIES IN NYS.  THIS IS DUE TO THE NECESSITY OF CREATING A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING WITHIN A PROPERTY THAT IS ZONED FOR SINGLE FAMILY.  THIS IS PARTICULARLY TRICKY IF THE PROPERTY IS ON SEPTIC.  THERE ARE CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR BUILDING DEPARTMENT TO DISCUSS ALLOWABILITY OF THIS TYPE OF PROJECT OR CONTACT US TO DISCUSS.  

If the project is allowable, we are happy to provide blueprints and help you to create an additional dwelling unit on your property.  We will work with you to ensure that the layout and design match your needs and vision while maintaining code compliance.  Our drawings will include all necessary components required in order to obtain a building permit and for your contractor to follow during construction.
